German Design Award winner: Bloomlight S
Bloomlight S has won a German Design Award 2026 in the Furniture category. The jury recognised what we set out to do from the beginning: create a lamp that earns its place not through performance, but through presence.
Maison et Objet: Bloomlight S x POLSPOTTEN
For Maison et Objet 2026 in Paris, Bloomlight S found a fitting home: the lounge of Polspotten. Visitors encountered it not as a product on display, but as a presence in the room.

Bloomlight S has won a 2025 GOOD DESIGN® Award - the oldest and most recognised design excellence programme in the world, founded in Chicago in 1950 by Eero Saarinen and Charles and Ray Eames.

City Gazing's Tenth Edition Lights Up Aarhus for Festival's 60th Anniversary
From August 29th to September 7th, 2025, Bishop's Square (Bispetorv) in Aarhus became the stage for a remarkable double milestone: the tenth edition of VOUW's acclaimed City Gazing installation coinciding with Aarhus Festuge's 60th anniversary celebrations.
Suspended 20 by 12 meters above the historic Bispetorv, City Gazing Aarhus appeared like a constellation mapping the city's evolution over the past century. This tenth edition introduced a groundbreaking approach to animation, focusing intensively on the development of individual streets and transportation networks—paying special attention to the early railway development and the later emergence of Aarhus's famous container port.
The collaboration with Den Gamle By proved invaluable, as the renowned open-air museum contributed essential knowledge about Aarhus's urban planning and history, providing access to historical maps that allowed VOUW to trace the city's evolution with archival precision.
