Bloomlights at Caspar David Friedrich’s Birthplace

Earlier this year, three of our Bloomlights were exhibited in Greifswald, Germany — a quiet northern town best known as the birthplace of Caspar David Friedrich. The presentation took place in February, marking the 250th anniversary of the iconic Romantic painter’s birth. The small-scale outdoor exhibition explored the legacy of Friedrich’s work and its ongoing relevance today.

Where the urban environment normally consists of purely straight lines, the Bloomlight provides an alternative with organic shapes and a friendly design that only provides light when needed.
